Take it Easy

Hi Everyone .
Well the sun has finally appeared and it is just glorious here, hope it's just as lovely wherever you are.

I've been busy recently with lots of male cards, not my favourite but it has to be done. I thought I would share one of them with you as I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
The card is 14cm x 14 cm and the papers I have used are a free download from Crafters Companion
that I have had for ages and never used, don't know why because the colours are lovely. I have edged the papers with Vintage Photo distress ink and mounted them on to brown cardstock from my stash. The topper is a digistamp from Digistamp Boutique, it can be found here and I have coloured it with my promarkers. The card is finished off with a sentiment from my stash.

Thanks for looking, I'd love to hear your comments

Drawer Easel Card - Wedding

Hi Everyone, hope you're all keeping well and the weather isn't getting you down.

Thought I would share a card I made recently for a wedding. I had wanted to try making one of these for a while and thought this was the perfect opportunity.

The trickiest part was sorting out the measurements but once I had  it was just a matter of putting it together.
The topper is from MCS Violet and Alfie, I just adjusted the colours slightly using the graphics program and layered it onto gold mirri. I used a Martha Stewart corner punch round the main body of the card and the matching punch on the stopper. The verse inside the drawer is from Words for Every Occasion by Judith Wibberley. The card is then finished off with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I'm really pleased with my first attempt at this, hope you like it too.

I'd love to hear your comments
