Ooh Arrrr!

Well, this promise to myself to blog more often hasn't quite worked out but in my defence I have been out of sorts for the last week and a half. Oh well, no point in moaning about it, just pull myself up by the bootstraps and get on with it.

The card I'm going to share today is for a little boy

The image is a digistamp from Pollycraft called Pirate which has been coloured with my Promarkers and then die cut with an x cut die.
The stripy paper is from my stash and the other paper is from Nitwits Landhootoo collection.
The palm tree has been cut from one of the nitwits papers in the collection as has the treasure chest, which has then been triple embossed to give a lovely glossy finish and then hung from a blue ribbon using jump rings. I've finished off with some matching blue gems.

I'd love to know what you think, so please leave me a little comment.

Daisy Thank You

Good Morning, lovely bright sunny day here again but bitterly cold so good excuse to stay in and craft, though I might need to start with a few star jumps to warm me up.

The card I have to share today is a thank you card.

I started with a 14.5cm x14.5cm and cut the front off on the diagonal. I then matted and layered with some co'ordinations card stock in green and some lovely yellow daisy paper taken from the SWALK papercrafting CD. The image is from Justinklined called Daisy Patch and can be found here or on The Best of Justinklined 2012 CD. I have coloured this with my promarkers, cut into a circle and matted on to some more of that lovely green card. The sentiment is one I received free with Quick Cards Made Easy and then die cut. The card is finished off with a butterfly punched from green glitter card using a tonic punch.

I'd love to know what you think, so please leave me a little comment, don't be shy

Bunches

Hi Everyone, hope you've all had a lovely day. I've had a very productive day here clearing out a lot of things, you know the 'stuff that you keep in case you might need it' . I even tidied out  my ribbon box that had been shoved to the back of a cupboard and it's all colour coordinated now - it'll never last lol.

The card I want to share today was made for a little girl who isn't overly fond of pink.

The digistamp is by Pollycraft again and I have coloured her with my Promarkers and used a scalloped oval die from X-Cut for both it and the sentiment. The papers are from Dovecraft Back to Basics II paper pack and the plain card from my stash. The butterfly is a brad from my craft box as are the flowers which were white and then coloured with my promarkers to match.

I'd love to know what you think, so please leave me a little comment, don't be shy

Fishy

Hi Everyone, hope you're all keeping well and had a lovely Christmas and New Year. We had a lovely relaxed, family Christmas and spent a lot of time playing with dolls, Lego, jewellery making etc, even managed to catch up on some reading. After the mad Christmas card making rush I decided to have a break and stayed away from my craft room for most of the holidays. The room was a bit of a tip and needed cleared out but no crafting done in it until the children went back to school on Monday.

I made this card a little while ago for a little boy and wanted to try to keep it nice and bright

The card is 14.5cm square, I've matted and layered with orange card from my stash and some lovely glittered fishy paper which is from a Bazoo paper pack by Hels Cuppleditch. The image is Fishy from Pollycraft and I have coloured it with my promarkers. I have finished the card off with some ribbon and a little ticket  sentiment from my stash ( I think I received this free from a magazine but I'm not sure ). I stamped it in orange and then used some UTE powder to add some shine and a little bit of shape to it.

I'd love to know what you think, so please leave me a little comment, don't be shy
